  17. Prepare 1 tbsp lemon juice

Drain and keep aside for ten to fifteen minutes. When making chiwda with poha or cornflakes or grated potatoes, always use a fine sieve ladle. In Indian markets we get these sieve with a handle and they are very helpful for frying ingredients which have small pieces or flakes. Just one equipment makes the frying process easy and a breeze.

  1. Wash, peel and chop all vegetables and coriander leaves.
  2. Wash poha and drain. Dry roast oats and grind to a fine powder in a mixer.
  3. In a mixing bowl add poha. Mix powdered oats. Add corns. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, chaat masala, red chilli flakes.
  4. Add all chopped vegetables and mix well. Add lemon juice. If required add 2-3 spoons water.
  5. Grease a thali. Pour the whole mixture and set it evenly.
  6. Heat one glass water in a karahi. Place a bowl upside down and keep the prepared thali over it
  7. Cover and cook on medium flame for 25-30 minutes.
  8. After 30 minutes do knife test. If knife comes clean it means it is ready. Let it cool.
  9. Serve hot with sauce.

On a cake stand, or plate, layer the cake up with the chocolate ganache, leaving the top plain. Cover completely with the mascarpone icing, and use a palate knife to give a smooth finish.
